"Nice membership perks overall"
I’ve had a good experience with the membership so far. The discounts are genuinely useful, and I really like getting early access to certain wines. The shipping perks are a nice bonus too. My only minor complaint is that I wish the selection was a little broader, but overall it’s been worth it.

"Early access actually came through"
I signed up for the limited release access mostly because I figured the good bottles would disappear instantly, and shocking absolutely no one, they did. Luckily, I managed to grab a couple before they sold out. Checkout was simple enough, the wine arrived in one piece, and yeah, I’m happy with it. Nice when things work the way they’re supposed to

"Rich and Layered, but a Bit Heavy for Me"
I liked how complex this smelled right away, with a nice mix of dark fruit and spice coming through. It definitely has some depth and feels layered, but after a while it started to feel a little heavy for my taste. Overall, I think it’s good, just not something I’d reach for every day.
"Tasty wine, but not totally sold"
I’ve had The Prisoner a few times now, and it’s definitely easy to drink and nice to bring out with dinner. People usually enjoy it, so I get why it has the reputation it does. That said, for the price, I’m not always sure the quality is that much better than some cheaper bottles I’ve liked just as much. Still a solid choice, just feels a bit overpriced to me.

"They fixed it quickly"
I had a bit of an issue at first, but they got it sorted out fast. Not sure, there was just something about it that made the whole thing feel less stressful than I expected.

"The “mystery blend” changes every bottle"
I used to really like this, but the last few bottles have been all over the place. One tastes okay, the next is weird and off, like it’s playing some sad little flavor roulette game. Not sure what happened, but the consistency is definitely gone

I dunno, I was expecting more from this one.. it tasted flat to me and for the price it just didn’t feel worth it

"I’ll admit I was expecting at least..."
I’ll admit I was expecting at least something to be annoying, but the checkout went through without any problems. Apple Pay worked fine, the shipping info was easy to see, and the order confirmation email showed up right away. Not much to complain about, honestly.

"Decent wine, but not up to my standard for the price"
The wine was good, and I did enjoy it, but for what it costs, I expected a bit more. I’m usually willing to pay extra when something really stands out, but this one didn’t quite meet my personal standard for the price

"Not worth it, especially with the changing terms"
I tried the red blend it was just okay. It came off a little too sweet and heavy for my taste, and the finish was kind of rough. The bottle looks nice, I’ll give it that, but the wine itself didn’t feel worth the price. Also, I’m not a fan of how the terms seemed to change along the way, that just made the whole experience more frustrating.

"Everything lined up just right"
I ordered from The Prisoner Wine Company and, as far as I can tell, everything followed the pattern you hope for with an online wine order: correct bottles, no missing items, no random substitutions, and solid packing. I always check the order against the confirmation right away, and this one matched perfectly. Simple, smooth experience, and I got exactly what I paid for. Easy 5 stars.

"So, my wine showed up and..."
So, my wine showed up and one of the bottles was broken, and the box was kind of a mess. I emailed them a few pictures, and they got back to me quickly. They sent out a replacement without making it a big hassle or anything. I mean, stuff happens during shipping, but yeah, they handled it really well...
"Refund Was More Hassle Than It Should’ve Been"
I had to cancel an order, getting the refund turned into way more work than I expected. Support did reply, but I felt like I had to keep chasing them and repeating myself just to get a clear answer.
The money did come back eventually, but it took longer than it should have, and there weren’t many updates unless I followed up. The wine itself is fine, but the refund process really needs to be smoother.

"Decent bottle for the price"
I felt good about the price overall. It’s not exactly a bargain bottle, so I did hesitate a bit, but it also didn’t feel like I was overpaying for what I got.
Checkout and shipping were smooth, and the bottle arrived without any issues. I’m not sure I’d grab it all the time, but for those times when I want something a little nicer without spending too much, I’d probably buy it again.
"Shipping cost was hard to forget"
I remember being pretty much ready to buy, but then the shipping cost showed up and it ruined it for me. From what I recall, it felt way too high for what I was ordering, and I ended up backing out.

I’ve tried a few wine clubs at this point and I’m kind of tired of sorting through all the subscriptions and “deals.” This one has been fair for the price, though. Nothing too fancy, but the value feels decent and it’s been easy enough to stick with

"Got help faster than I expected"
I had a little issue with my order and sent them a message not expecting to hear back anytime soon, but they replied quickly and I was kind of relieved because I just wanted it handled without a whole back-and-forth.
The person who helped me was nice and explained everything clearly and they got it sorted without making it feel like a big deal, so overall it was a good experience and I’d be fine ordering from them again.

"Helpful email support, maybe I was just impatient"
I had to email them about my order, and they did get back to me with the info I needed. It took a little longer than I was hoping, though maybe I was just expecting a reply too fast. The response itself was friendly and easy to understand, and everything worked out in the end. I’d use them again, but I’d probably just remind myself to be a bit more patient next time...
